Kraften Ventures: an investment advisory firm’s site that moves like the prototype
Kraften Ventures helps founders raise, buy and sell. Their design came with a strict 8px grid and a lot of motion, and one rule: match the prototype exactly, animation curves included.
The brief
Kraften Ventures is an investment advisory firm built by entrepreneurs, for entrepreneurs: fundraising, M&A and advisory, end to end.
The design leaned on motion to feel considered rather than corporate. That only works if every curve and timing lands exactly as designed, on every screen, without slowing the site down.
What I built
Cards that stack as you scroll
A section that pins in place and reveals cards one by one, snapping gently into view. On phones it becomes a normal scroll, because pinning fights your thumb.
A philosophy told frame by frame
A Lottie animation that plays as you scroll, with text arriving on cue. Speed is capped so it stays deliberate on any device.
Strategy, Growth, Capital
The hero rotates through all three with timing taken straight from the prototype. The parallax waits until the page has loaded, so the first impression stays clean.
A cursor with manners
It grows with speed, switches to a text cursor over inputs, and stays out of the way of team photos.
Held to the 8px grid
Spacing lives as tokens, so no one-off values crept in, at any breakpoint.
Still evolving
Team pages, copy and new sections keep landing after launch, so the site keeps pace with the firm.
